PURPOSE:We aimed to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of fusion imaging of unenhanced and arterial phase contrast-enhanced cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) by comparing with multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) in detection of viable ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Resection Margin Involvement with Crohn's Disease and Postoperative Anastomotic Integrity
A prospective double-blind trial was conducted in Crohn's disease subjects in whom a resection was being performed, to assess the hypothesis that marginal disease would adversely influence healing of the anastomosis. Of 106 eligible patients.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Comparison between Marginal Gap of Stone and Metal Dies in a CAD/CAM System
Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate and contrast the zirconia crown's marginal gap on stone and metal dies in a CAD/CAM system. Materials and Methods: After preparing a melamine tooth (lower six molar) with 1.5mm occlusal reduction, 1 ...

Suppressed density of states in self-generated Coulomb glasses
We investigate the structure of metastable states in self-generated Coulomb glasses. In dramatic contrast to disordered electron glasses, we find that these states lack marginal stability.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...
