Microalgae‐derived bioactive compounds exhibit strong antioxidant and antimicrobial properties and can be incorporated into edible coatings to enhance food quality and shelf life. These materials offer sustainable, biodegradable alternatives to conventional packaging, with promising potential for future scalable food applications.
