Many studies have been performed to develop an effective tool to identify market power based on indices. Most often it is rather difficult to use an index-based method for real-time analysis.

CADAC methods in market research

In the 80's a new group of market research methods called CADAC (Computer Assisted DAta Collection ) is being developed. Computer assisted interviewing has become rapidly popular partly because it provides better data quality and data analysis than traditional methods.
