We investigate the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interactions (DMIs) in perpendicularly magnetized thin films of Pt/Co/Pt and Pt/Co/Ir/Pt. To study the effective DMI, arising at either side of the ferromagnet, we use a field-driven domain wall creep-based method.

Effects of Growth Hormone on the Differentiation of Mouse B-Lymphoid Precursors
Growth hormone (GH) has been known to enhance immune responses directly or through insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I). The present study aimed to clarify the roles of GH in the differentiation of B-lineage precursors. In short-term bone marrow cultures,

Resonant reflection at magnetic barriers in quantum wires
The conductance of a quantum wire containing a single magnetic barrier is studied numerically by means of the recursive Greens function technique. For sufficiently strong and localized barriers, Fano - type reflection resonances are observed close to the

Immune‐Driven Expression in Inclusion Body Myositis With T‐Cell Large Granular Lymphocytic Leukemia
ABSTRACT Objectives T‐cell large granular lymphocytic leukemia (T‐LGLL), reported in up to 58% of inclusion body myositis (IBM) patients, is a rare leukemia of cytotoxic or less commonly helper T cells. The range of myopathies in T‐LGLL and the impact of coexisting T‐LGLL in IBM are not well understood. Our objectives are to investigate the spectrum of

Scaling of Dzyaloshinskii Moriya interaction at heavy metal and ferromagnetic metal interfaces
The Dzyaloshinskii Moriya Interaction (DMI) at the heavy metal (HM) and ferromagnetic metal (FM) interface has been recognized as a key ingredient in spintronic applications.

Epigenetic reprogramming in hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) and downstream myeloid cells, mediated by H3.3 downregulation and endogenous retroelement (ERE) overexpression, contributes to the progression of multiple sclerosis (MS). ABSTRACT Background Skewed myelopoiesis in the bone marrow has been identified as a key driver of multiple ...
