Catalytically Enhanced Near Room‐Temperature Hydrogen Sensing Using Pd‐ZnO Colloidal Crystals

Pd‐decorated ZnO colloidal crystal monolayers demonstrate excellent performance across a wide hydrogen concentration range at 33°C, with high selectivity and reproducible device fabrication. Biomineral‐Inspired Organic/Inorganic Colloidal Liquid‐Crystalline Hybrids for Photoresponsive Adhesion

A new class of photoresponsive liquid‐crystalline (LC) adhesives based on biomineral‐inspired organic/inorganic colloidal hybrids is reported. These colloidal LC materials are formed by hybridization of a hydroxyapatite nanorod with azobenzene‐based forklike molecules.

Volatile Relay Biosensing and Mobile Phone Imaging for Detection of Influenza Virus

Detection of volatile organic compounds is performed via a coupled enzymatic assay with mobile phone detection of the signal. Specific application demonstrated herein is the detection of influenza virus, across multiple levels of biological complexity, up to patient‐derived samples.

Measurements of ion cyclotron-resonance frequencies in a Penning trap, by a laser fluorescence technique, are described. This technique has been applied to indirect measurements of the proton-to-electron mass ratio and the $^{9}\mathrm{Be}^{+}$ electron ${g}_{J}$ factor.
