Mid‐infrared spectroscopy applied to a multi‐level cave system (Montmaurin, SW France): An innovative method for assessing sediment provenance

open access: yesSedimentology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Deciphering sediment provenance is essential to understand depositional patterns and dynamics. This question is particularly important in archaeological contexts to constrain the sedimentological history of unearthed material—an information critically needed, for example, to estimate the age of the deposits—or to apprehend sediment movement ...

Fault‐Controlled Permeability: A Key Parameter in Geothermal Electricity Production Assessment

open access: yesTerra Nova, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Geothermal energy is central to the global green energy transition, but its development has long focused on regions with positive thermal anomalies. Through a semi‐quantitative global‐scale review and spatial analysis of 361 geothermal sites, we show that 56.2% of global geothermal electricity production occurs in regions with thermal ...

Natural grasslands in the Massif Central: expressing regional identity through high-quality products

open access: yes, 2019
The often natural grasslands of the Massif Central (80% of usable farm area) contain an impressive pool of native species. They are also a resource that can enhance the quality of the region's livestock products.

Imaging the Deformation Belt of Western Hispaniola Island (Haiti) Using Multi‐Component Ambient Noise Cross‐Correlations

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters
We apply ambient noise tomography to a seismic array from the Trans‐Haiti project to obtain a 2‐D shear wave velocity (Vs) across Haiti. We perform multi‐component noise cross‐correlation, measure Rayleigh wave phase velocity and its horizontal‐to ...

Methionine Synthase Interacts With the Methionine Adenosyl‐Transferase MATα2 and the DNA Methyltransferase DNMT3b in the Nucleus

open access: yesJournal of Inherited Metabolic Disease, Volume 49, Issue 4, July 2026.
This study shows that methionine synthase (MS) interacts with MATα2, responsible for SAM production, and the methyltransferase DNMT3b in the nucleus. These results support the idea that spatial compartmentalization of one‐carbon metabolism could play a major role in regulating the epigenome.
