Post‐COVID Fatigue Is Associated With Reduced Cortical Thickness After Hospitalization

ABSTRACT Objective Neuropsychiatric symptoms are among the most prevalent sequelae of COVID‐19, particularly among hospitalized patients. Recent research has identified volumetric brain changes associated with COVID‐19. However, it currently remains poorly understood how brain changes relate to post‐COVID fatigue and cognitive deficits.

Modafinil modulates beta/gamma band activity in the pedunculopontine nucleus (PPN), like PPN deep brain stimulation. We therefore tested the hypothesis that Modafinil would improve FOG in PwPD.

The phase diagram of the two-channel Kondo lattice model is examined with a Quantum Monte Carlo simulation in the limit of infinite dimensions. Commensurate (and incommensurate) antiferromagnetic and superconducting states are found.
