Stability of the stochastic matching model [PDF]
Abstract We introduce and study a new model that we call the matching model. Items arrive one by one in a buffer and depart from it as soon as possible but by pairs. The items of a departing pair are said to be matched. There is a finite set of classes đ± for the items, and the allowed matchings depend on the classes, according to a matching graph on đ±.

ABSTRACT Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a chronic, inherited hemoglobinopathy that requires frequent hospitalization for diseaseârelated complications. Canadian data on inpatient care is limited. This study compared caregiverâreported hospital experiences of children with SCD to those with cystic fibrosis (CF), a chronic, autosomal recessive ...

Learning Energy-Based Models in High-Dimensional Spaces with Multiscale Denoising-Score Matching
Energy-based models (EBMs) assign an unnormalized log probability to data samples. This functionality has a variety of applications, such as sample synthesis, data denoising, sample restoration, outlier detection, Bayesian reasoning and many more.

Match-Referee Matching Model in Football
Abstract Referees are assigned to football matches in Turkey by a three-person subcommittee formed by Central Referee Committee, a subsidiary of the Turkish Football Federation, in a non-transparent way and this procedure makes manipulation possible. Therefore, referee appointments are among the topics discussed in the football world.

A Matching Model for the Backhaul Problem [PDF]
The 'backhaul problem' is characterized by an imbalance in transport flows between locations. This problem is usually studied in a perfectly competitive framework, which essentially predicts that when the imbalance is sufficiently large, the freight price of transport from low demand regions to high demand regions, the so-called backhaul price, drops ...

ABSTRACT Background An internal tandem duplication in the gene encoding Fmsâlike tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3âITD) is associated with high relapse risk and poor prognosis in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and plays a crucial role in treatment decisions. Measurable residual disease (MRD) analysis of FLT3âITD during and after treatment has shown prognostic ...

Evaluation of an Area-Based matching algorithm with advanced shape models [PDF]
Nowadays, the scientific institutions involved in planetary mapping are working on new strategies to produce accurate high resolution DTMs from space images at planetary scale, usually dealing with extremely large data volumes.

ABSTRACT Immune effector cellâassociated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosisâlike syndrome (IECâHS) is a lifeâthreatening hyperinflammatory toxicity distinct from cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurotoxicity following chimeric antigen receptor Tâcell (CARâT) therapy. In a singleâinstitution retrospective cohort of pediatric and young adult patients
