Improved feature point extraction and mismatch eliminating algorithm
For the existing image matching algorithms, some inherent shortcomings, such as high mismatch rate and low computational efficiency, give rise to a bad influence on the performance of Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (VSLAM). In this paper, a

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

A guide to functional methods beyond one-loop order
Functional methods can be applied to the quantum effective action to efficiently determine counterterms and matching conditions for effective field theories. We extend the toolbox to two-loop order and beyond and show how to evaluate the expansion of the

Dental students' tooth shade selection ability in relation to years of dental education
Background and Objectives: Perfect tooth shade selection is indispensable for successful esthetic dental restorations. Shade matching is a complex and multidimensional process that involves the cognitive ability of students. Hence, the aim of the present

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Is there a Superior Distance Function for Matching in Small Samples? [PDF]
The study contributes to the development of ’standards’ for the application of matching algorithms in empirical evaluation studies. The focus is on the first step of the matching procedure, the choice of an appropriate distance function.

Blind Component Separation in Wavelet Space: Application to CMB Analysis
It is a recurrent issue in astronomical data analysis that observations are incomplete maps with missing patches or intentionally masked parts. In addition, many astrophysical emissions are nonstationary processes over the sky.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.
