Six groups of high-school students were exposed to a second-order matching-to-sample task and generalization tests trials using familiar and unfamiliar stimuli as well as a new matching relation.

ANÁLISIS DEL DISCURSO DIDÁCTICO USANDO UNA TAREA DE IGUALACIÓN DE LA MUESTRA DE SEGUNDO ORDEN [PDF]
Learning to teach seems to be a product of direct experiential learning. Therefore, in this study, a second-order matching-to-sample task was used to evaluate the didactic discourse that a person can elaborate from his own learning.

CONTROL BY SAMPLE LOCATION IN PIGEONS' MATCHING TO SAMPLE [PDF]
Three experiments assessed the impact of sample location in pigeons' matching to sample. Experiments 1 and 2 demonstrated that after line or hue identity matching was acquired to high levels of accuracy with center‐key samples, varying sample location across the three keys disrupted performances.

Sample-whitened matched filters [PDF]
A sample-whitened matched filter (SWMF) for a channel with intersymbol interference and additive white Gaussian noise is defined as a linear filter with the properties that its output samples are a sufficient statistic for the MAP estimation of the transmitted sequence and have uncorrelated noise components.

Personalized Zebrafish Models for Fusion‐Positive Pediatric Sarcomas
ABSTRACT Clinical sequencing efforts have revolutionized our approaches to categorizing pediatric cancers in real time. This has dramatically improved our ability to profile pediatric tumors, identify actionable vulnerabilities, and influence clinical care.

On the consistency of a two-sample matching test [PDF]
Let {X k } and {Y k }, 1≤ k ≤ n be the order statistics of independent random samples from continuous distribution function F and G respectively. To test the null hypothesis H 0 G = F, known, against the alternative H 1 G ≠ F, a test S n based on the number of matches between the two samples was suggested by Siddiqui and Gurler (1992). In this note the

The Role of “Adult‐Onset” Cancer Predisposition Genes in Pediatric Cancer: A Comprehensive Review
ABSTRACT Current literature estimates that 10% of pediatric cancers are caused by pathogenic or likely pathogenic (P/LP) germline variants in cancer predisposition genes (CPGs). Variants in CPGs thought to increase cancer risk exclusively during adulthood are referred to as “adult‐onset” CPGs (aoCPGs).
