Corticosteroid Receptor Modulation in the Dorsal Striatum Prevents Morphine‐Induced Place Preference and Reduction in Dopamine Transporter (DAT) Immunoreactivity in Rats

open access: yesAddiction Biology, Volume 31, Issue 9, September 2026.
Intra‐dorsal striatal corticosterone attenuated morphine‐induced CPP. GR and MR antagonists also attenuated morphine‐induced CPP. Morphine reduced DAT immunoreactivity, an effect prevented by CORT and antagonists. Distinct corticosteroid manipulations converged on similar reward and DAT outcomes.

Inducing Antigen‐Specific and Functional Immune Responses in Mice Toward Bovine Herpesvirus 1 and Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus by Chimeric Peptides Delivered by Bovine Herpesvirus 4‐Based Vector

open access: yesImmunology, Volume 179, Issue 1, Page 54-71, September 2026.
Bovine Alphaherpesvirus 1 (BoHV‐1) and Bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) are major drivers of respiratory disease in cattle. (A) To target both pathogens, two chimeric antigens—membrane‐linked and secreted—combining BoHV‐1 glycoprotein D and BRSV fusion glycoprotein were designed and expressed using recombinant BoHV‐4‐based vectors.
