Bone‐wise rigid registration of femur, tibia, and fibula for the tracking of temporal changes
Abstract Background Multiple myeloma (MM) induces temporal alterations in bone structure, such as osteolytic bone lesions, which are challenging to identify through manual image interpretation. The large variation in radiologists' assessments, even at expert centers, further complicates diagnosis.

Abstract Purpose This study evaluates the dosimetric and geometric precision of a virtual cone technique using CBCT‐based polymer gel dosimetry, enabling radiation delivery, and imaging readout within an identical spatial coordinate system. Methods We created a C# script for a virtual cone technique that generates a treatment plan with 10 gantry arcs ...

The relationship between proteome size, amino acid composition, and lifespan across 276 vertebrate species is investigated. Proteome size correlates positively with lifespan in mammals but negatively in birds and fish. While proteome composition varies among classes, no single amino acid frequency correlates with lifespan.

Digital Methods for the Fatigue Assessment of Engineering Steels
The use of engineering steels is often limited by their fatigue strength. In the sake of a faster product development, the fatigue behavior can be predicted by machine learning (ML). In this work, ML is applied on a heterogeneous database, covering a wide range of steel types.
