Durable and Efficient Solar CO2‐to‐CO Conversion Enabled by Single‐Atom Ag on Zn3(PO4)2 Cathode Coupled With a GaAs/PtSA@NiOOH Photoanode

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Atomic dispersion of Ag within a Zn3(PO4)2 electrocatalysts matrix shows outstanding selectivity for CO evolution, following the intermediate pathway: *CO2 → *COOH → *CO → CO(g) The configuration stabilizes key intermediates and promotes efficient CO2‐to‐CO conversion under electrochemical conditions.

Beyond subsistence? The role of rural cooperatives in driving smallholder commercialization in Ethiopia

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
Abstract The transition from subsistence to market‐oriented agriculture holds the potential to boost rural economic progress and improve the well‐being of the rural poor in developing countries. Despite this potential, there is limited understanding of the key drivers for smallholder commercialization. In this study, we utilize comprehensive three‐wave

Novel approach to modeling ultra‐low temperature frost formation using Computational Fluid Dynamics

open access: yesAIChE Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract This study presents the development of a computational fluid dynamics model for predicting ultra‐low temperatures (less than −100°C). The frost formation rate was characterized using dimensionless numbers derived from operating conditions. To better capture the underlying physical phenomena of ultra‐low temperature frosting, various physical ...

Large Language Model in Materials Science: Roles, Challenges, and Strategic Outlook

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Large language models (LLMs) are reshaping materials science. Acting as Oracle, Surrogate, Quant, and Arbiter, they now extract knowledge, predict properties, gauge risk, and steer decisions within a traceable loop. Overcoming data heterogeneity, hallucinations, and poor interpretability demands domain‐adapted models, cross‐modal data standards, and ...
