Survey of Matrix Completion Algorithms

open access: yesCoRR, 2022
Matrix completion problem has been investigated under many different conditions since Netflix announced the Netflix Prize problem. Many research work has been done in the field once it has been discovered that many real life dataset could be estimated with a low-rank matrix.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

RW-MC:self-adaptive random walk based matrix completion algorithm

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2017
Concerning the continually perceiving performance of virtual access points (VAP) was urgent in software-defined wireless network (SDWN),with the features of VAPs’ measurement data (VMD),a self-adaptive matrix completion algorithm based on random walk was

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Metastasis on pause: How dormant tumor cells stay hidden within the tumor microenvironment and evade immune surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Doa estimation of array radar via compressive sampling and matrix completion

open access: yes, 2015
With the requirement of high-precision and high-resolution, the huge data greatly increases data transmission and storage load. Compressive sampling and Matrix completion have received considerable attention recently, and has been applied successfully in

The P_0^+-matrix completion problem

open access: yes, 2015
A real n by n matrix B is a P_0^+ -matrix if for each k in {1, 2, . . . , n} every k by k principal minor of B is nonnegative, and at least one k by k principal minor is positive. A digraph D is said to have P_0^+-completion if every partial P_0^+-matrix

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.
