On the regularization and matrix Lyapunov functions for fuzzy differential systems with uncertain parameters

open access: yesElectronic Research Archive, 2023
<p>In this paper, for a regularized fuzzy system, a generalization of the direct Lyapunov method is adapted on the base of matrix-valued Lyapunov-like functions. First, the new concept of a regularization scheme for fuzzy systems is discussed and the matrix-valued Lyapunov function technique is introduced.

Dynamic multi‐objective optimisation of complex networks based on evolutionary computation

open access: yesIET Networks, EarlyView., 2022
Abstract As the problems concerning the number of information to be optimised is increasing, the optimisation level is getting higher, the target information is more diversified, and the algorithms are becoming more complex; the traditional algorithms such as particle swarm and differential evolution are far from being able to deal with this situation ...

Uniformly asymptotic stability of second-order linear time-varying systems

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2020
This paper is concerned with the stability of second-order linear time-varying systems. By utilizing the Lyapunov approach, a generally uniformly asymptotic stability criterion is obtained by adding the system matrices into the quadratic Lyapunov ...

Generalized Stability of Motion and Matrix Lyapunov Functions

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1995
The author develops stability criteria for matrix differential equations in terms of matrix Lyapunov functions and matrix valued norm. For this purpose, necessary matrix differential inequalities, existence of extremal solutions and comparison results are proved.

Improved Robust Stability Criteria of Uncertain Neutral Systems with Mixed Delays

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2009
The problem of robust stability for a class of neutral control systems with mixed delays is investigated. Based on Lyapunov stable theory, by constructing a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii function, some new stable criteria are obtained.

Iterative LMI Approach to Robust Hierarchical Control of Homogenous Linear Multi-Agent Systems Subject to Polytopic Uncertainty and External Disturbance

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
This paper investigates design of robust hierarchical control for linear multi-agent systems (MAS) subject to polytopic uncertainty and external disturbance. Each agent of MAS is described by a homogeneous linear time-invariant dynamic model. The control

Analysis of small oscillations of complex electrical systems [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2020
The article discusses the results of the analysis of the static stability of complex electrical systems. The efficiency of the combined application of the equations of nodal voltages (ENV) and the Lyapunov function in quadratic form for the analysis of ...

Formation Control of Multi‐Agent System with Local Interaction and Artificial Potential Field

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article proposes a local interaction‐based formation control method for Multi‐Agent system, integrating consensus and leader‐follower strategies with a stress response mechanism—artificial potential field to reduce communication overhead and enable obstacle avoidance. Experimental results on triangular, square, and hexagonal formations confirm its

The Lyapunov function for Schrödinger operators with a periodic 2×2 matrix potential

open access: yes, 2006
We consider the Schrödinger operator on the real line with a 2×2 matrix-valued 1-periodic potential. The spectrum of this operator is absolutely continuous and consists of intervals separated by gaps.
