On the transpose map of matrix algebras [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1983
It is shown that for the transpose map θ ( n ) \theta (n) of the n × n n \times n matrix algebra M n {M_n} , its k k th multiplicity map θ ( n

Identification of serum protein biomarkers for pre‐cancerous lesions associated with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Factors affecting light energy transfer in some samarium complexes

open access: yesInternational Journal of Photoenergy, 2005
The photophysical properties of samarium ion in presence of 7-Acetoxy Coumarin 3-Carboxylic acid (ACC) or 1-(4-methoxyphenyl) 3-(4-t-butyl phenyl) 1,3-propandione (MBPK), which act as antenna of near-UV radiation, are studied in different homogeneous ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Fixed point theorems for extended interpolative multi-valued non-self mappings in b-metric space with some application

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Mathematics and Applications, 2023
The study of fixed point theorems for multi-valued non-self mappings on metrically convex metric space was initiated by Assad and Kirk. In this paper, we will prove and extend the fixed point results for an extended interpolative multivalued non-self ...
