Analysis of electrophysiological activities using Matrix Pencil Method
IEEE EUROCON 2017 -17th International Conference on Smart Technologies, 2017This paper presents a high resolution method for analyzing of electrophysiological activities using Matrix Pencil Method (MPM). This approach identifies measured signal from nerves to better understanding the functional organization of neuronal ensembles that form the peripheral nerves or the cerebral cortex.

Expectation Maximization - Matrix Pencil Method for Direction of Arrival estimation
2010 7th International Symposium on Communication Systems, Networks & Digital Signal Processing (CSNDSP 2010), 2010In this paper, we present a Direction of Arrival estimation algorithm by combining Expectation Maximization (EM) and Matrix Pencil Method (MPM). It is possible that, when using a long uniform array, a few elements may fail, or the half-wavelength spacing between the elements may not be satisfied due to the spatial constraint.

A matrix pencil based numerical method for the computation of the GCD of polynomials
[1992] Proceedings of the 31st IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 1994The authors present a novel numerical method for the computation of the greatest common divisor (GCD) of an m-set of polynomials of R(s), P/sub m,d/, of maximal degree d. It is based on a procedure that characterizes the GCD of P/sub m,d/ as the output decoupling zero polynomial of a linear system that may be associated with P/sub m,d/. The computation

UWB antenna 3D characterization using Matrix Pencil method
2014 IEEE Conference on Antenna Measurements & Applications (CAMA), 2014This paper presents an application of the Matrix Pencil (MP) method to modelize UWB exponential Tapered Slot Antenna (ETSA) radiation performances. The determination of the 3D Impulse Response of Antenna (IRA) is performed starting from measured data. Using the Matrix Pencil method, we establish a compact model of the antenna.

Efficiency of Matrix Pencil Method in Stimulus Artifact Removal
2018 EMF-Med 1st World Conference on Biomedical Applications of Electromagnetic Fields (EMF-Med), 2018Stimulus artifact affecting electrophysiological recordings makes neural response analysis quite difficult. To analyze response with a maximum of precision, one needs to remove firstly the stimulus artifact without causing a neural response distortion.

Synthesis of sparse planar arrays with matrix pencil method
2011 International Conference on Computational Problem-Solving (ICCP), 2011It's a difficult problem to optimize a sparse planar array for narrow main lobe width (MLW) and low peak side lobe level (PSLL) simultaneously. In this paper, the matrix pencil method (MPM) is applied to synthesize a sparse planar array. The sparse planar array is designed to a separable planar array by a product of two orthogonal linear sparse arrays.
