A transformer acoustic signal analysis method based on matrix pencil and hybrid deep neural network
Acoustic signal analysis is an important component of transformer online monitoring. Currently, traditional methods have problems such as low spectral resolution, imbalanced sample distribution, and unsatisfactory classification performance. This article

Feature extraction is a challenging problem in radar target identification. In this paper, we propose a new approach of feature extraction by using Matrix Pencil Method in Frequency Domain (MPMFD).

Complex natural resonances (CNRs) extraction methods such as matrix pencil method (MPM), Cauchy, vector-fitting Cauchy method (VCM), or Prony’s method decompose a signal in terms of frequency components and damping factors based on Baum’s singularity ...

A Perturbation Method for Index Detection for Linear Matrix Pencils
Rigorous, non-asymptotic bounds for the Puiseux expansion of the eigenvalue at infinity are given. Error analysis is provided. Further, the expected value of the eigenvector condition number of a randomly perturbed matrix is estimated. The latter result is applied to the Cayley transform of the linear pencil.

Abstract Background To report 24‐month clinical and 3D outcomes of single and multiple RT1 and RT2 gingival recessions treated with the modified coronally advanced tunnel (MCAT) technique and an L‐PRF‐functionalized porcine dermal matrix (PDM), as long‐term data on PDM in root coverage are scarce.

Abstract Background Bananas (Musa species) are an important staple food and cash crop in many parts of the world. The East African Highland cooking bananas form the backbone of food security for millions of Ugandans. The demand for high quality cooking bananas is thus closely linked to their sensory characteristics (which drive consumer preference) and

Superior Labial Artery Flap for Septal Perforation Repair: The Boxer's Flap
The nasal floor flap, or Boxer's flap, is an anteriorly pedicled, superior labial artery–based mucosal flap that provides excellent closure rates in septal perforation repair when traditional septal flaps are not feasible. The schematic shows: (A) preoperative perforation, (B) nasal floor flap elevation (with the pedicle maintained at the inferior ...

Multi-Object Feature Extraction in Resonance Region Based on Short-Time Matrix Pencil Method
As an intrinsic characteristic of the target, the pole characteristic of the resonant region is solely determined by the target itself and remains invariant with respect to external factors such as the incident direction and polarization of ...

The shift-and-invert Arnoldi method for singular matrix pencils
A popular method for solving large sparse regular eigenvalue problem is the shift-and-invert Arnoldi method. This paper aims to use the method for large sparse singular pencils. In three recent papers, {\em Hochstenbach, Mehl, and Plestenjak, 2019, 2023, and 2024}, propose regularization of the singular pencil, using randomly chosen regularization ...
