Real‐time assay of ribonucleotide reductase activity with a fluorescent RNA aptamer

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ribonucleotide reductases (RNR) synthesize DNA building blocks de novo, making them crucial in DNA replication and drug targeting. FLARE introduces the first single‐tube real‐time coupled RNR assay, which enables isothermal tracking of RNR activity at nanomolar enzyme levels and allows the reconstruction of allosteric regulatory patterns and rapid ...

Automatic Calculation of a Transformation Matrix Between Two Frames

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
This paper presents a novel strategy for the automatic calculation of a homogeneous transformation matrix between two frames given a set of matched position measurements of objects as observed in both frames.

Convolution Calculation Optimization Method Based on Matrix Transformation [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2019
An efficient convolution calculation optimization method MCFA based on matrix transformation is proposed. The input matrix is divided into blocks according to the width and the convolution core size of the output matrix. The input matrix sub-blocks and the

An upstream open reading frame regulates expression of the mitochondrial protein Slm35 and mitophagy flux

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Fibonacci difference sequence spaces for modulus functions

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2015
In the present paper we introduce Fibonacci difference sequence spaces l(F, Ƒ, p, u) and  l_∞(F, Ƒ, p, u) by using a sequence of modulus functions and a new band matrix F.

Generally Covariant Actions for Multiple D-branes

open access: yes, 2004
We develop a formalism that allows us to write actions for multiple D-branes with manifest general covariance. While the matrix coordinates of the D-branes have a complicated transformation law under coordinate transformations, we find that these may be ...

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Matrix transformations from absolutely convergent series to convergent sequences as general weighted mean summability methods

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2000
We prove the necessary and sufficient conditions for an infinity matrix to be a mapping, from absolutely convergent series to convergent sequences, which is treated as general weighted mean summability methods.

Investigating the Difference in Mechanical Stability of Retained Austenite in Bainitic and Martensitic High-Carbon Bearing Steels using in situ Neutron Diffraction and Crystal Plasticity Modeling

open access: yesMetals, 2019
In situ neutron diffraction of the uniaxial tension test was used to study the effect of the surrounding matrix microstructure on the mechanical stability of retained austenite in high-carbon bearing steels.
