Emerging role of ARHGAP29 in melanoma cell phenotype switching

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study gives first insights into the role of ARHGAP29 in malignant melanoma. ARHGAP29 was revealed to be connected to tumor cell plasticity, promoting a mesenchymal‐like, invasive phenotype and driving tumor progression. Further, it modulates cell spreading by influencing RhoA/ROCK signaling and affects SMAD2 activity. Rho GTPase‐activating protein

Multichannel coupling with supersymmetric quantum mechanics and exactly-solvable model for Feshbach resonance

open access: yes, 2006
A new type of supersymmetric transformations of the coupled-channel radial Schroedinger equation is introduced, which do not conserve the vanishing behavior of solutions at the origin.

Modeling hepatic fibrosis in TP53 knockout iPSC‐derived human liver organoids

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study developed iPSC‐derived human liver organoids with TP53 gene knockout to model human liver fibrosis. These organoids showed elevated myofibroblast activation, early disease markers, and advanced fibrotic hallmarks. The use of profibrotic differentiation medium further amplified the fibrotic signature seen in the organoids.

Fixed Points of Two-Sided Fractional Matrix Transformations

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2007
Let and be complex matrices, and consider the densely defined map on matrices. Its fixed points form a graph, which is generically (in terms of ) nonempty, and is generically the Johnson graph ; in the nongeneric case, either it is a retract of the

Covariance, correlation matrix and the multi-scale community structure of networks

open access: yes, 2010
Empirical studies show that real world networks often exhibit multiple scales of topological descriptions. However, it is still an open problem how to identify the intrinsic multiple scales of networks.

PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells enhances bortezomib sensitivity in multiple myeloma cells by altering their metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.

On the Matrix Domain in the Sequence Lu [PDF]

open access: yesEurasian Journal of Science and Engineering, 2017
In this paper, I introduce a new sequence space as Lu the domain of four dimensional generalized difference matrix(r, s, t , u ) and as a generalization of the series space BV. I give some topological properties with some inclusion relations. Moreover, I

Transformations ${RS}_4^2(3)$ of the Ranks $\leq4$ and Algebraic Solutions of the Sixth Painlev\'e Equation

open access: yes, 2001
Compositions of rational transformations of independent variables of linear matrix ordinary differential equations (ODEs) with the Schlesinger transformations ($RS$-transformations) are used to construct algebraic solutions of the sixth Painlev\'e ...

Matrix transformations of some sequence spaces [PDF]

open access: yesPacific Journal of Mathematics, 1969
This paper is a continuation of [1]. We begin with the notations for the sequence spaces considered in this paper. Let Γ be the space of sequences x = {xp} of complex numbers such that |xp|1/p⃗0 as p⃗∞. Γ can also be regarded as the space of integral functions f(z) = .

Predictors of response and rational combinations for the novel MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665 in acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...
