Performance of downlink MC-CDMA and CI/MC-CDMA systems in the presence of narrowband interference
Proceedings of the 2009 International Conference on Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing: Connecting the World Wirelessly, 2009MC-CDMA (Multi-carrier Code Division Multiple Access) remains a strong candidate for next generation wireless communication systems. Due to its capability of exploiting frequency diversity, MC-CDMA provides high BER performance in multi-path fading channels.

Spreading Sequence Design for MC-CDMA Systems
2007 IEEE International Conference on System of Systems Engineering, 2007The paper presents a new approach of optimal spreading sequence allocation in the uplink of a multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) system. The algorithm is implemented as a distributed optimization problem, where each user will minimize its cost function, by choosing a codeword that suits better to the interference pattern.

Linear Precoding for Downlink MC-CDMA Systems
2007 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference, 2007In this paper, as an alternative to post-detection techniques, we derive two iterative joint linear precoding and power allocation methods for downlink MC-CDMA systems with multiple transmit antennas at the base station. The first method optimally solves the so called assigned target SINRs problem, i.e.

Intercell Interference Cancellation for MC-CDMA Systems
2007 IEEE 65th Vehicular Technology Conference - VTC2007-Spring, 2007This article considers the problem of intercellular interference cancellation for downlink MC-CDMA systems. Throughout this work, we mainly focus on parallel interference cancellation (PIC) techniques due to the low latency they present. After deriving a version of a classical PIC receiver, suitably tuned to take into account the intercellular ...

In this paper, we present a M-ary MC-CDMA system for 4G which can support data rates up to 20 Mbps. In the transmitter, data bits are serial to parallel converted, then applying M-ary orthogonal modulation, the modulated symbol is spread using each chip of complex orthogonal codes.

MC-CDMA Indoor Optical Wireless System
IEEE GLOBECOM 2007-2007 IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference, 2007Multicarrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) is a transmission scheme that combines the robustness of orthogonal modulation with the flexibility of CDMA schemes. It can lower the symbol rate and is therefore suited to the bandwidth limited optical wireless indoor channel.

Joint Transceiver Optimization in MC-CDMA Systems
IEICE Transactions on Communications, 2009Multicarrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) systems are well suited for high data rate wireless multimedia services, due to their ability to convert frequency-selective fading channels to distinct flat fading channels with low complexity fast Fourier transform (FFT) devices.

Channel construction in SCS-MC-CDMA system
IEEE 60th Vehicular Technology Conference, 2004. VTC2004-Fall. 2004, 2005This paper promises a chip-by-chip channel estimation method for time domain spreading MC-CDMA systems to allow the use of MMSEC. MMSEC effectively compensates the loss of orthogonality among spreading codes, so that we can realize high communication quality even in very fast fading environments.

ICA detection for MC-CDMA systems
2012 International Symposium on Intelligent Signal Processing and Communications Systems, 2012The multicarrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) technique has received considerable attention due to its high data rate for future wireless communication systems. A common problem to multiuser MC-CDMA detectors under Rayleigh fading channels is that the performance is very sensitive to the signature waveform mismatch (SWM) induced by channel ...

Integer-forcing receiver for MC-CDMA system
The Sixth International Workshop on Signal Design and Its Applications in Communications, 2013Integer-forcing (IF) linear receiver has been recently introduced for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) fading channels. The integer coefficients have to be chosen based on the channel realizations, and the choice of such coefficients is known to determine the receiver performance.
