Coordinated jamming and communications in an MC-CDMA system
IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2015A coordinated jamming and communications technique for degrading enemy user transmission performance in a multicarrier code-division multiple-access system is introduced. A linear minimum mean square error (MMSE) algorithm with jamming matrix estimation in single-tone jamming is presented.

Signalling overhead for ASBA in an MC‐CDMA system
European Transactions on Telecommunications, 2006AbstractOFDM modulation combined with the hybrid multiple access scheme, CDMA/FDMA, has been shown to provide high flexibility and granularity for the synchronised downlink transmission. Moreover, an efficient resource allocation scheme, referred to as adaptive sub‐band allocation (ASBA), can be used to assign sub‐carriers to the users in such a way to

Transmitter and receiver optimization in MC-CDMA systems
WCNC. 1999 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (Cat. No.99TH8466), 2003In this paper, we consider transmitter and receiver optimization in multicarrier code division multiple access (MC CDMA) systems. Receiver optimization is performed in a decentralized manner while transmitter optimization is performed through centralized control of the power of different carriers.

Combined partial equalization for MC-CDMA wireless systems
IEEE Communications Letters, 2009We analyze a combined equalization technique for multi carrier-code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) systems which consists in performing both pre-equalization at the transmitter and post-equalization at the receiver. In particular, a parametric partial equalization (PE) technique is considered at both sides, and we derive a generalized analytical ...

Rotated constellation MC-CDMA system
Seamless Interconnection for Universal Services. Global Telecommunications Conference. GLOBECOM'99. (Cat. No.99CH37042), 2003We introduce rotated constellations of signals in multi-carrier code-division multiple-access (MC-CDMA). The performance of this new system is obtained and compared to that of conventional MC-CDMA system. Numerical results consider a typical indoor environment.

Beam-forming for MC-CDMA systems
The 2002 45th Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2002. MWSCAS-2002., 2003In this paper, the use of adaptive antenna arrays for MC-CDMA systems in an interference-dominated environment is investigated. We present two different beam-forming approaches, namely, frequency domain and time domain beam-forming. Beam-forming performance over different channel conditions such as flat fading, frequency selective fading, low and high ...

Adaptive beamforming for MC-CDMA systems
International Journal of Mobile Network Design and Innovation, 2010A novel beamforming algorithm is proposed for MC-CDMA systems under time varying channel conditions to suppress the interference in the presence of strong interferers. An iterative algorithm which computes the beamforming weight vectors is presented in this paper.

Modeling and analysis of a cellular MC-CDMA downlink system
2004 IEEE 15th International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications (IEEE Cat. No.04TH8754), 2005The concept of a multi-cell environment for an MC-CDMA downlink scenario is presented; it is based on a propagation model taking into account path loss and shadowing. The interference of adjacent cells is studied and the Gaussian approximation (GA) is investigated for simplifying the interference simulation. The major influence of the interfering cells

Modified PIC in MC-CDMA systems
First International Symposium on Control, Communications and Signal Processing, 2004., 2004In this paper, we propose a modified parallel interference cancellation (PIC) approach for MC-CDMA systems. Compared with conventional PIC, modified PIC can improve BER performance at lower number of subchannels in both downlink and uplink channels and has the same performance as conventional PIC when the number of subchannels is sufficiently large ...
