Channel construction in SCS-MC-CDMA system

IEEE 60th Vehicular Technology Conference, 2004. VTC2004-Fall. 2004, 2005
This paper promises a chip-by-chip channel estimation method for time domain spreading MC-CDMA systems to allow the use of MMSEC. MMSEC effectively compensates the loss of orthogonality among spreading codes, so that we can realize high communication quality even in very fast fading environments.

Link adaptation for uplink MC‐CDMA systems

European Transactions on Telecommunications, 2006
AbstractIn this paper, a detailed investigation of the uplink multi‐carrier code‐division multiple‐access (MC‐CDMA) systems that employ link adaptation is conducted. Link adaptation makes use of knowledge of channel state information (CSI) at the MC‐CDMA transmitter.

MIMO Adaptive Beamforming for MC-CDMA System

The 9th International Conference on Advanced Communication Technology, 2007
We combine an adaptive beamforming with the Alamouti space-time block code transmission. An adaptive beamforming is a smart antenna system capable of suppressing interferences in a multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communications scenario. For the Alamouti space-time block code, it allows the systems transmit diversity.

Multi-Axes Modulation for MC-CDMA Systems

2006 10th IEEE Singapore International Conference on Communication Systems, 2006
In this paper, we analyze the signals of MC-CDMA system with linear combining for single user detection in a mulitpath Rayleigh fading channel. The multi-user interference (MUI) of other users is closely related with modulation methods. The multi-axes modulation scheme which rotates such one dimensional signaling as BPSK or ASK et al. is presented.

Transceiver design for cognitive MC-CDMA system

2017 International Conference on Wireless Communications, Signal Processing and Networking (WiSPNET), 2017
In this letter, we consider a cognitive radio cellular system for downlink transmission using Multi-carrier code-division-multiple-access (MC-CDMA). The bottleneck of conventional system is the non-availability of spectrum which is necessary for transmission of multi-media services such as picture transmission, video signal reception etc.

A MC-CDMA system based on CMFB

Proceedings of the 2004 IEEE International Conference on Control Applications, 2004., 2005
An M-band CMFB with a side lobe of about 45 dB was designed using the optimum equal wave method. Modulation was made with the updated comprehensive filter banks, and demodulation was made with the analytic filter banks, and a multi-carrier CDMA system based on CMFB was constructed.

Exploitation of diversity in MC-CDMA systems

6th IEE International Conference on 3G and Beyond (05/11182), 2005
MC-CDMA has an additional degree of freedom to exploit diversity compared to OFDMA or MC-TDMA due to spreading. This paper analyzes the achievable BER lower bounds for different MC-CDMA schemes exploiting channel state information (CSI) at the transmitter, the receiver, or both.

Transmission Strategies for MISO Downlink MC-CDMA Mobile Systems

Wireless Personal Communications, 2009
This paper proposes two space-frequency schemes with a multi-user pre-filtering technique for downlink (DL) multicarrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) systems. We consider the use of antenna arrays at the base station (BS) and a single antenna at the mobile terminal (MT) and derive the proposed multi-user pre-filtering technique that ...

Receiver Design for Spatially Layered Downlink MC-CDMA System

IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2005
One of the most promising candidates for the air interface of the upcoming multiuser broadband communication systems is multicarrier code-division multiple-access (MC-CDMA). In the pursuit for higher data rates and reliability of communication in fading environments, a vast amount of spatial multiplexing and transmit diversity techniques have been ...

PAPR Characteristics Analysis of MC-CDMA System

2011
The multi-carrier CDMA (MC-CDMA) is a multi-carrier CDMA system based on the frequency-domain spreading. In the performance of anti-ISI, it has a distinct advantage over conventional single-carrier CDMA when transmitting high-speed data. However, the MC-CDMA system inherits higher peak-average power ratio (PAPR) problem from the OFDM systems, which ...
