Ring theoretic aspects of weak Hopf actions [PDF]
Following Linchenko and Montgomery's arguments we show that the smash product of a semiprime module algebra, satisfying a polynomial identity and an involutive weak Hopf algebra is semiprime.

Fluorescent photographs of McCoy cells infected with C. trachomatis serovar L2.
McCoy cells were methanol fixed at 24 (A, C, and E), and 48 (B, D, and F) h p.i. and probed with pAb against fragment 2 of PmpD (A and B), anti-MOMP PAb (C and D) and rabbit pre-immune sera (E and F).

Subdirectly Irreducible DQC Rings
Twenty-five years ago McCoy published a characterization of commutative subdirectly irreducible rings. This result was generalized by Thierrin to duo rings with the word “field” which appeared in McCoy's theorem replaced by “division ring”.

Does Inequality Blur Class Lines? Meritocratic Attitudes in Comparative Perspective

Hurricane‐induced risk contagion in commercial real estate: Evidence from Hurricane Sandy
Abstract This study examines how hurricane‐induced destruction affects the prices of nearby undamaged commercial real estate properties, using Hurricane Sandy as a natural experiment. Using Real Capital Analytics transaction records spatially merged with Federal Emergency Management Agency building‐level damage data, we empirically employ a difference ...
