Brown-McCoy Radical in Restricted Graded Version [PDF]

open access: yesJTAM (Jurnal Teori Dan Aplikasi Matematika), 2022
Some conjectures related to the radical theory of rings are still open. Hence, the research on the radical theory of rings is still being investigated by some prominent authors.

On graded Brown–McCoy radicals of graded rings [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebra and Its Applications, 2016
We investigate the graded Brown–McCoy and the classical Brown–McCoy radical of a graded ring, which is the direct sum of a family of its additive subgroups indexed by a nonempty set, under the assumption that the product of homogeneous elements is again homogeneous.

A note on Brown—McCoy radicals ofΓ-rings [PDF]

open access: yesPeriodica Mathematica Hungarica, 1987
In [1] we defined the Brown—McCoy radical,B(M), of aΓ-ringM. In this note we show thatB is a special radical. The simplicial radical, defined by Kyuno [4] forΓ-rings with left and right unities, is extended to arbitraryΓ-rings. The simplicial radicalS is shown to be a generalization of the Brown—McCoy radical of a ring. In general,B(M) ≠ S(M).

On Brown–McCoy radical classes in categories [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the Edinburgh Mathematical Society, 1983
What does a simple ring with unity, a topological T0-space and a graph that has at most one loop but may possess edges, have in common? In this note we show that they all are Brown–McCoy semisimple. Suliński has generalised the well-known Brown–McCoy radical class of associative rings (cf. [1]) to a category which satisfies certain conditions.

Radicals related to the Brown-McCoy radical in some varieties of algebras [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Australian Mathematical Society, 1979
AbstractThe Brown-McCoy radical is the upper radical defined by the class of simple rings with identities. For associative or alternative rings the Brown-McCoy radical is hereditary, and its semi-simple class consists of all subdirect products of simple rings with identities.

Hereditariness, strongness and relationship between Brown-McCoy and Behrens radicals [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The authors explore the properties of being hereditary and being strong among the radicals of associative rings. They also prove certain results concerning the relationship between the Brown-McCoy and Behrens radicals. If \(A\) is an associative ring then \(I\triangleleft A\), \(L\triangleleft_l A\), and \(R\triangleleft_r A\) denote that \(I\) is an ...
