We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

The recovery of knee function in the isolated MCL and combined ACL-MCL deficient knee [PDF]
The MCL is the prime medial stabiliser of the knee and is a commonly injured structure which leads to valgus instability of the knee.We aim to analyse differences in recovery of knee motion and muscle function over one year follow up in the isolated MCL and combined ACL-MCL injured knee.

Structural insights into the RNA methyltransferase domain of METTL16
N 6-methyladenosine (m6A) is an abundant modification in messenger RNA and noncoding RNAs that affects RNA metabolism. Methyltransferase-like protein 16 (METTL16) is a recently confirmed m6A RNA methyltransferase that methylates U6 spliceosomal RNA and ...

ABSTRACT Objective Down syndrome regression disorder is a syndrome characterized by subacute loss of cognitive, behavioral, and functional abilities in individuals with Down syndrome. Electroencephalography abnormalities are frequently observed during evaluation, but it remains unclear whether these findings represent a dynamic marker of disease ...

This work presents a programmable atomic engineering strategy for 2D materials using Å‐scale nanoreactors formed by bilayer graphene (BLG) intercalation. A new class of alkali‐iron‐chloride compounds, along with lateral heterostructures composed of monolayer alkali halides and iron chlorides, is revealed.
