MDV: A Multi-Factors Data Valuation Method
2019 5th International Conference on Big Data Computing and Communications (BIGCOM), 2019Data valuation plays a key role in information lifecycle management (ILM). There are two kinds of methods to assess data's value: policy-based method and non-policy-based method. A policy-based method depends on the administrators' principles and the relations between applications in upper layer which makes data value assessment comprehensive.

Metabolite tunes MDV pathway to maintain mitochondrial fitness
Molecular CellIn this issue of Molecular Cell, Tang et al.1 demonstrate that the ketone body β-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) promotes the biogenesis of mitochondrial-derived vesicles (MDVs) via lysine β-hydroxybutyrylation (Kbhb) on SNX9, revealing a way to fine-tune the mitochondrial quality control pathway with metabolites.

Meq: An MDV-Specific bZIP Transactivator with Transforming Properties
2001The principal cause of chicken T-lymphomas and their accompanying demyelinating disease is infection with Marek’s disease virus (MDV) (Calnek et al. 1997), a herpesvirus. Mareks disease can be prevented by vaccination with an antigenically related nonpathogenic herpesvirus, HVT (turkey herpesvirus). MDV is among the most potent oncogenic herpesviruses,

Marek's disease virus (MDV) encodes a basic leucine-zipper protein, Meq, that shares homology with the Jun/Fos family of transcriptional factors. Conclusive evidence that Meq is an oncogene of MDV came from recent studies of a Meq-null virus, rMd5 Delta Meq. This virus replicated well in vitro, but was non-oncogenic in vivo. Further characterization of

Comparative 50% protective dose (PD50) assays were performed using a plaque-purified preparation of Marek's disease virus (MDV) strain CVI-988 at the 65th chicken embryo fibroblast (CEF) passage level (MDV CVI-988 CEF65 clone C) and three commercial MD vaccines: herpesvirus of turkeys (HVT) FC126, MDV CVI-988 CEF35, and a bivalent vaccine composed of ...

We have isolated a stable, recombinant Marek's disease virus (MDV) containing the lacZ gene of Escherichia coli inserted into the unique short region of the genome. The nucleotide sequence of the insertion site indicates that it lies within a sequence homologous to the US2 gene of herpes simplex virus. Stable insertion of the lacZ gene into the MDV US2

Isolation of highly cytolytic MDV strains from Germany and Spain
Avian Pathology, 1998Four serotype 1 Marek's disease virus (MDV) strains were isolated from Marek's disease (MD) outbreaks in Germany and Spain and their virulence was tested in SPF White Leghorn chickens. Two of the isolates from Germany (MR48/1-2 and /2-8) induced early mortality from cytolytic MD in 25% of the chickens whereas one isolate from Germany (MR48/3-16) caused

MDV - An intelligent system for multidisciplinary visualization
32nd Aerospace Sciences Meeting and Exhibit, 1994One of the grand challenges in the Computational Aerosciences Project (CAS) of the High Performance Computing and Communications P r e gram (HPCCP) involves performing multidisciplinary simulations in which two or more phenomena, such as fluid dynamics and structural dynamics, are strongly coupled.
