Neuroreport, 2002mdx mice are considered as a genetic homologous of human Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Recent evidence demonstrates that in mouse sympathetic ganglion dystrophin is involved in the stabilization of nicotinic acetylcholine receptor clusters.
