Mean square error optimal weighting for multitaper cepstrum estimation [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to find a multitaper-based spectrum estimator that is mean square error optimal for cepstrum coefficient estimation. The multitaper spectrum estimator consists of windowed periodograms which are weighted together, where the ...

ABSTRACT Background Patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis commonly experience reduced physical function, fatigue, poor sleep quality, and impaired health‐related quality of life. Intradialytic exercise has been proposed as a non‐pharmacological strategy to improve these outcomes.

ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

A DFT-based Low Complexity LMMSE Channel Estimation Technique for OFDM Systems
The linear minimum mean square error (LMMSE) channel estimation technique is often employed in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems because of its optimal performance in the mean square error (MSE) performance.

ABSTRACT Background Japan has one of the highest dialysis prevalence rates worldwide and a shrinking, aging population. Whether dialysis burden has entered a sustained post‐peak phase or whether recent declines partly reflect pandemic‐related disruptions remains uncertain.

Comparison of regression models under multi-collinearity [PDF]
Multicollinearity is a major problem in linear regression analysis and several methods exists in the literature to deal with the same. Ridge regression is one of the most popular methods to overcome the problem followed by Generalized Ridge Regression ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
