Analysis of Preventive Maintenance on Forklifts and Reach Trucks by Calculating Mean Time Between Failure and Mean Time to Repair at PT. DSV Solutions Indonesia

open access: yesProceeding of International Conference on Science and Technology UISU
The aim of this research is to analyze preventive maintenance for material handling equipment, specifically Forklifts and reach trucks, at PT. DSV Solutions Indonesia over a one-year period (January-December 2023). The analysis employs the Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and Availability methods.

Estimating the cost of offshore maintenance and the benefit from condition monitoring [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The EU generally, and the UK, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany specifically, have ambitious plans for the large scale installation of offshore wind-power capacity.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

A Comparative Study on the Uroflowmetry Parameters between Single-stage and Staged Hypospadias Repair

open access: yesJournal of Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons
Objective: Uroflowmetry documents functional outcome after hypospadias surgery. We aim to compare the uroflowmetry parameters between single-stage and staged hypospadias repair and determine any statistical difference.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Optimal Decision Procedure to Declare Human Fatigue and Prediction of 3-Mean Repair Times with One Repairman(Short Communication)

open access: yesDefence Science Journal, 2001
This paper gives an optimum procedure to decide whether fatigue is present in a repairman and if it'is true prediction of the 3-mean repair times of the three failed systems.

Online multipath convolutional coding for real-time transmission [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Most of multipath multimedia streaming proposals use Forward Error Correction (FEC) approach to protect from packet losses. However, FEC does not sustain well burst of losses even when packets from a given FEC block are spread over multiple paths.
