Neutrophil Macrophage Crosstalk via Extracellular Vesicles Drives Reverse Migration in a Fully Human Model of Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel microphysiological system that can mimic sterile or non‐sterile injury demonstrates that macrophage‐derived extracellular vesicles modulate neutrophil migratory responses to these different wound states. The model showed that resolution of inflammation through neutrophil reverse migration is driven by IL‐8 derived from extracellular vesicles ...

Crystalline‐Amorphous Heterostructure: A Novel Configuration for Silver Nanoclusters

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a spontaneously formed amorphous‐crystalline heterostructure composite composed of atomically precise carboranylthiolate‐protected silver NCs, demonstrating not only a unique co‐assembly of distinct metal NCs at the macroscopic level but also promising potential applications of metal cluster‐based materials.

High Specific Strength Eutectic High‐Entropy Alloy: Collaborative Effects of TRIP, TWIP, and Nanoprecipitation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study has designed a novel CoCrNiAl eutectic high‐entropy alloy with a two‐level heterogeneous structure with extremely high strength. The high mechanical properties originate from the collaborative strengthening mechanisms, including TWIP, TRIP, and nanoprecipitation.
