Accelerating Combinatorial Electrocatalyst Discovery with Bayesian Optimization: a Case Study in the Quaternary System Ni‐Pd‐Pt‐Ru for the Oxygen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Exploring vast multinary composition spaces for electrocatalyst discovery is experimentally demanding. This study demonstrates how combinatorial synthesis, high‐throughput characterization, and Bayesian optimization can be combined to accelerate materials discovery.

Deep Learning‐Assisted Rapid Bacterial Classification Based on Raman Spectroscopy of Bacteria Lysed by Acoustically Driven Fiber‐Tip Vibration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel acoustofluidic lysis technique based on a vibrating fiber‐tip is integrated with Raman spectroscopy and deep learning for rapid, label‐free bacterial classification. By exposing intracellular biomolecules, this method significantly enhances spectral resolution, enabling high‐accuracy classification with a 1D‐ResNet model.

Resolving the Sodiation Process in Hard Carbon Anodes with Nanostructure Specific X‐Ray Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SWAXS imaging is demonstrated as a characterization method to investigate sodiation mechanisms of hard carbon anodes. Structural changes are mapped across the anode and reveals that micropore filling is dominating the later stages of sodiation, while intercalation occurs continuously.

High‐Density Flexible Neural Implants with Submicron Feedline Resolution

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Optimization of microfabrication methods using optical contact lithography (OCL) and electron beam lithography (EBL) enables the fabrication of 64‐channel, high‐density, parylene‐C‐based intracortical implants with submicron feedlines as narrow as 400 and 50 nm, respectively.
