Intelligent control of mechatronic systems
Proceedings of the 2003 IEEE International Symposium on Intelligent Control ISIC-03, 2003This talk is dedicated to intelligent control of mechatronic systems. After a brief review of fuzzy logic and neural network systems, two main tools used for intelligent control, and some basic control concepts and methodologies, intelligent control is presented for two typical mechatronic systems, servo mechanisms and robotic systems by fully ...

Control of Mechatronic Systems
2017The following part of this work discusses selected control methods for nonlinear systems with the application of intelligent algorithms, with an indication of their significant advantages and drawbacks. The criteria for consideration in the accuracy of the tracking motion executed by nonlinear systems constitute a comparison of yielded results to the ...

Advances in the control of mechatronic suspension systems
Journal of Zhejiang University SCIENCE C, 2014The suspension system is a key element in motor vehicles. Advancements in electronics and microprocessor technology have led to the realization of mechatronic suspensions. Since its introduction in some production motorcars in the 1980s, it has remained an area which sees active research and development, and this will likely continue for many years to ...

Mechatronic intelligent bus control system
2017 IEEE East-West Design & Test Symposium (EWDTS), 2017The problem of ensuring the safety of passengers waiting for public passenger transport at a halting point is considered. In addition, due to the large number of vehicles in the streets and road networks of cities, the lack of parking spaces, there is a problem of parking at bus stops.

Web system for control of mechatronic devices
7th International Conference on Control, Automation, Robotics and Vision, 2002. ICARCV 2002., 2004The motivation behind this project is flexible learning for students in a safe manner with optimal utilisation of resources. Previously students were only permitted to access the Robotics Laboratory during supervised periods as specified in the universities Occupation Health and Safety Policy.

Control for Mechatronic Systems
2010In this paper, we take the DC motor in daily life as a system. Firstly, we present the mathematical mode, and discuss the stability and controllability of the system by using the MATLAB tool. Then, we discuss the steady-state error of the system, from which the result illustrates that feedback could reduce the impact of the interference on the output ...

On the design and control of mechatronic systems-a survey
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 1996The integration of mechanical systems and microelectronics opens new possibilities for mechanical design and automatic functions. After a discussion of the mechanical and electronic design the organization of information processing in different levels is described.

Mechatronic control system design
Proceedings of the 1992 IEEE International Symposium on Intelligent Control, 2003The authors discuss a mechatronic solution to the design of a control system for a wire frame assembly machine. An existing machine, controlled by purely mechanical cams, links, and levers, and has been redesigned. The new control system, using the concept of software gearboxes, coordinates the action of discrete servo drives.

Modelling of physical systems for the design and control of mechatronic systems
Annual Reviews in Control, 2003Abstract Mechatronic design requires that a mechanical system and its control system be designed as an integrated system. This contribution covers the background and tools for modelling and simulation of physical systems and their controllers, with parameters that are directly related to the real-world system.
