Degradable Magnetic Composites from Recycled NdFeB Magnets for Soft Actuation and Sensing
This work presents a degradable soft magnetic composite made from recycled NdFeB particles embedded in a gelatin‐based organogel. The material is processed into magnetic sensors and soft robotic components, which can later be dissolved in a green solvent to recover NdFeB magnetic particles.

COMPONENTS AND INTERFACES FROM MECHATRONIC SYSTEMS
Within the mechatronic systems, there are interfaces for both hardware and software components. In the construction of the mechatronic system by a team, these interfaces must be considered, in order to create a system as the client wishes. The delivered

Robust Penalty Adaptive Model Predictive Control (PAMPC) of constrained, underdamped, non-collocated systems [PDF]
This paper investigates the control challenges posed by noncollocated mechatronic systems and motivates the need for a model-based control technique towards such systems. A novel way of online constraint handling by penalty adaptation (PAMPC) is proposed

Origins of Graphite Resistivity: Decoupling Stacking Fault and Rotational Misorientation
Interfacial dislocations critically influence interlayer transport in van der Waals (vdW) materials, yet quantifying their individual contributions remains challenging. We measure graphite's c‐axis resistivity and develop a decoupling strategy, revealing a resistivity ratio of ∼4507:74:1 for rotational misorientations, stacking faults, and AB stacking,

Response robustness and safety against jump to contact in AFMs controlled via different techniques [PDF]
The role of a global dynamics analysis to assess a system robustness and actual safety in operating conditions is investigated by studying the effect of different local and global control techniques on the nonlinear behavior of a noncontact AFM via ...

This work successfully fabricated ion‐conductive hydrogels with low hysteresis and high conductivity using 3D printing technology. By adjusting the component ratios, the properties of the hydrogels can be tuned to meet diverse sensing requirements. Finally, a multimodal sensing sign language recognition system was constructed based on this hydrogel ...
