Updated S2k hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) guidelines provide expert consensus on diagnosis, assessment and comorbidities. Expanded substantially since the 2015 version, they reflect rapid growth in HS literature and aim to improve generalist‐level patient care through evidence‐informed, consensus‐based guidance.

Anatomy of spinal CSF loss in the American alligator (Alligator mississippiensis)

India ink introduced into the cranial cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) compartment of Alligator diffuses along the spinal cord and exits the spinal compartment using perineural flow, resulting in a prominent “ink cuff” forming at the base of the spinal nerve. In Alligator, the region of the ink cuff is drained by a small lymphatic vessel.

The Synergy Between a Silver‐Ruthenium Antimicrobial and Aminoglycosides Is Based on Severe Macromolecular Damage

AGXX enhances aminoglycoside activity against multidrug‐resistant pathogens such as uropathogenic Escherichia coli by increasing reactive oxygen species, causing protein aggregation and DNA damage. This effect is reduced by oxygen limitation or antioxidants. Polyphosphate protects cells from oxidative damage.
