Order statistics in control charts construction
Order statistics are applied in construction of control charts that are used in statistical process control. Control charts monitor the average process level, volatility or extreme values: maximum and minimum.

Median and quasi-median direct products of graphs
Summary: Median graphs are characterized among direct products of graphs on at least three vertices. Beside some trivial cases, it is shown that one component of \(G\times P_3\) is median if and only if \(G\) is a tree in that the distance between any two vertices of degree at least 3 is even. In addition, some partial results considering median graphs

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Weighted Repeated Median Smoothing and Filtering [PDF]
We propose weighted repeated median filters and smoothers for robust non-parametric regression in general and for robust signal extraction from time series in particular.

DEVELOPMENT OF SOME REVOLUTION SURFACES
The paper work proposes practical graphic methods provided by Descriptive Geometry to plot the development of two revolution surfaces: the revolution surface having an oval as median section and the revolution surface having an ordinary curve as median ...

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Single-Crossing, Strategic Voting and the Median Choice Rule [PDF]
This paper studies the strategic foundations of the Representative Voter Theorem (Rothstein, 1991), also called the "second version" of the Median Voter Theorem. As a by-product, it also considers the existence of non-trivial strategy-proof social choice
