Utilization of real‐world data in assessing treatment effectiveness for diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, Volume 98, Issue 1, Page 180-192, January 2023., 2023
Abstract Direct comparisons of the effectiveness of the numerous novel therapies in the diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma (DLBCL) treatment landscape in a range of head‐to‐head randomized phase 3 trials would be time‐consuming and costly. Comparative effectiveness studies using real‐world data (RWD) represent a complementary approach.

A Rare Case of Posterior Mediastinal Seminoma Mimicking Primary Lung Neoplasm

open access: diamondThe Southwest Respiratory and Critical Care Chronicles, 2013
We report an atypical case of posterior mediastinal seminoma. Mediastinal seminomasare a rare form of tumor usually located in the anterior mediastinum. Our casepresented as a diagnostic challenge because of the difficulty of differentiating the primarymediastinal mass from a primary lung neoplasm.

Combination of Deauville score and quantitative positron emission tomography parameters as a predictive tool of anti‐CD19 chimeric antigen receptor T‐cell efficacy

open access: yesCancer, Volume 129, Issue 2, Page 255-263, 15 January 2023., 2023
Abstract Background Autologous anti‐CD19 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T‐cell therapy is an effective treatment for approximately 40% of relapsed/refractory large B cell lymphomas (LBCL), and early identification of patients at risk for relapse or progression after CAR T‐cell therapy represents a clinical need.

DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF LYMPHOMAS OF THE MEDIASTINUM: A VIEW OF THE ONCOLOGIST AND PATHOLOGIST

open access: yesМедицинский совет, 2017
The clinic-rentgenological differential diagnosis is difficult especially in case of localized mediastinal disease. Just detailed histological diagnosis allows making a right tactic decision and choosing effective therapy.

Primary lung cancer treatable with radical resection after complete remission with pembrolizumab therapy following gemcitabine and carboplatin chemotherapy for multiple metastases of bladder cancer

open access: yesIJU Case Reports, Volume 6, Issue 1, Page 85-88, January 2023., 2023
Introduction We report a patient with the complete remission of multiple metastases and primary bladder lesions of bladder cancer who developed primary lung cancer requiring radical resection. Case presentation A 68‐year‐old man diagnosed with invasive bladder cancer, right hydroureteronephrosis, and multiple metastases were administered six courses of

Mediastinal Lymph Node Detection and Segmentation Using Deep Learning [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022, 2022
Automatic lymph node (LN) segmentation and detection for cancer staging are critical. In clinical practice, computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography (PET) imaging detect abnormal LNs. Despite its low contrast and variety in nodal size and form, LN segmentation remains a challenging task.
