Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Instytucja separacji małżeńskiej na gruncie prawa kanonicznego i polskiego prawa cywilnego

open access: yesStudia Koszalińsko-Kołobrzeskie
Separation leads out from the Latin term separation, which means separation, disconnection and isolation. In Polish civil law it depends on canceling the matrimonial community and separation from the community of Home (table and bed).

Model-independent analysis of the DAMPE excess

open access: yes, 2018
The Dark Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE) recently released measurements of the electron spectrum with a hint of a narrow peak at about 1.4 TeV. We investigate dark matter (DM) models that could produce such a signal by annihilation in a nearby subhalo ...

MEDIATION VS. MEDIATOR

open access: yesAgora International Journal of Juridical Sciences, 2013
The title of this paper was suggested by the confusion existing even among certainmediators about what mediation is and what it represents actually. Is mediation “a different type of justice” or, otherwise, it is “an alternative totraditional justice”?

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Effects of the Incidence Density of Fever (IDF) on Patients Resuscitated From In-Hospital Cardiac Arrest: A Mediation Analysis

open access: yesFrontiers in Medicine, 2020
Objective: The aim of this research was to study the factors contributing to the survival rate of in-hospital cardiac arrest (IHCA) and to determine whether the incidence density of fever (IDF) acts as a mediator. Methods: Data from patients with IHCA who

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

The anti‐CRISPR protein AcrIE8.1 inhibits the type I‐E CRISPR‐Cas system by directly binding to the Cascade subunit Cas11

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we present the structure of AcrIE8.1, a previously uncharacterized anti‐CRISPR protein that inhibits the type I‐E CRISPR‐Cas system. Through a combination of structural and biochemical analyses, we demonstrate that AcrIE8.1 directly binds to the Cas11 subunit of the Cascade complex to inhibit the CRISPR‐Cas system.

Relationship between Social Support and Life Satisfaction of College Students: Resilience As a Mediator and Moderator

open access: yesEthics in Progress, 2018
A total of 843 college students in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies were investigated using a social support evaluation scale, a resilience scale, and a life satisfaction evaluation scale. Results were analyzed using IBM® SPSS 21.0® and Amos 17.0.
