Acting It Out: A Classroom Activity to Improve Knowledge and Visualisation of Space Management Principles in Paediatric Dental Education

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Dental Education, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction The preclinical dental curriculum has a heavy emphasis on the care of adults and permanent dentition. Students have less exposure to the care of the child and topics pertaining to primary and transitional dentition as well as developing occlusions.

Integrating image‐based phenotyping and marker‐assisted selection to optimize the selection of potato clones for chipping and resistance to viruses X and Y

open access: yesCrop Science, Volume 66, Issue 3, May/June 2026.
Abstract Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is the most important non‐cereal crop for global food security. To meet the demands of the processing, potato clones with good frying quality and industrial yield and resistance to major viral diseases are required. This study aimed to integrate image‐based phenotyping and marker‐assisted selection to optimize the

Production and Properties of Isocyanate-Bonded MDF Manufactured from Acacia Mangium [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
Medium density fiberboards (MDF) were manufactured from fast-growing Acacia mangium wood. The boards were produced at two levels of density, 600 and 750 kg/m³. Isocyanate and urea- formaldehyde resin adhesives were used asbinders.

From Pyrolysis Oil to Advanced Biographite Anode: Unravelling Biocoke Structural Evolution and Delayed Coking Effects

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2026.
Temperature‐driven structural evolution of biocokes derived from biomass pyrolysis oil is systematically investigated. Catalytic graphitization of biocoke produces highly crystalline biographite anodes for lithium‐ion batteries. A delayed coking step enables coproduction of biographite and sustainable aviation fuels, without compromising crystallinity ...

Preparation of Nitrogen-containing Activated Carbon from Waste Medium Density Fiberboard for Electric Double Layer Capacitor

open access: yesBioResources, 2015
The waste of medium density fiberboards was carbonized at a temperature of 500 °C. The activated carbons were obtained after 16 h of impregnation and 1 h of activation by KOH at 800 °C with KOH/coke mass ratios of 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0.
