Miniaturised medium pressure capillary liquid chromatography system with flexible open platform design using off-the-shelf microfluidic components

Analytica Chimica Acta, 2015
Trends towards portable analytical instrumentation of the last decades have not been equally reflected in developments of portable liquid chromatography (LC) instrumentation for rapid on-site measurements. A miniaturised medium pressure capillary LC (MPLC) system with gradient elution capability has been designed based on a flexible modular ...

One‐step Separation and Purification of Three Lignans and One Flavonol from Sinopodophyllum emodi by Medium‐pressure Liquid Chromatography and High‐speed Counter‐current Chromatography

Phytochemical Analysis, 2013
ABSTRACTIntroductionLignans and flavonols are the primary constituents of Sinopodophyllum emodi and have been used as cathartic, anthelmintic, chemotherapeutic and anti‐hypertensive compounds. Although these compounds have been isolated, there have been no reports on the separation of 4′‐demethyl podophyllotoxin, podophyllotoxin, deoxypodophyllotoxin ...

PREPARATIVE SEPARATION OF CHROMONES IN PLANT EXTRACT OF SAPOSHNIKOVIA DIVARICATA BY REVERSE-PHASE MEDIUM-PRESSURE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY AND HIGH PERFORMANCE COUNTER-CURRENT CHROMATOGRAPHY

Journal of Liquid Chromatography & Related Technologies, 2013
Five known chromones were isolated and purified from Saposhnikovia divaricata for the first time by a combination of reverse-phase medium-pressure liquid chromatography (RP-MPLC) and high performance counter-current chromatography (HPCCC). The n-butanol extracts of S.

One-step Separation and Purification of Four Phenolic Acids from Stenoloma chusanum (L.) Ching by Medium-pressure Liquid Chromatography and High-speed Counter-current Chromatography

The Natural Products Journal, 2019
Background:Stenoloma chusanum (L.) Ching is a Chinese traditional medicinal fern with high total flavonoid and total phenolic content. Traditionally, phenolic compounds were separated by using column chromatography, which is relatively inefficient.

Objective: This study aims to use an efficient method to separate natural products ...

Fractionation of polar compounds from crude oils by hetero-medium pressure liquid chromatography (H-MPLC) and molecular characterization by ultrahigh-resolution mass spectrometry

Fuel, 2020
Abstract Polar compounds from three Brazilian crude oils were isolated and separated into seven fractions according to the polarity (low polarity-LP, low medium polarity-LMP, high medium polarity-HMP, high polarity-HP, basic-BAS, acidic-AC) by using hetero-medium pressure liquid chromatography (H-MPLC).

An effective method based on medium‐pressure liquid chromatography and recycling high‐speed counter‐current chromatography for enrichment and separation of three minor components with similar polarity from Dracocephalum tanguticum

Journal of Separation Science, 2018
AbstractThe separation of minor compounds, especially those with similar polarities from a complex sample, remains challenging. In the proposed study, an effective method based on medium‐pressure liquid chromatography and recycling high‐speed counter‐current chromatography was developed for the enrichment and separation of three minor components from ...

Rapid preparative isolation of erythrocentaurin from Enicostemma littorale by medium‐pressure liquid chromatography, its estimation by high‐pressure thin‐layer chromatography, and its α‐amylase inhibitory activity

Journal of Separation Science, 2015
Erythrocentaurin is a relatively simple natural product present among the members of Gentianaceae. A preparative method for the isolation of erythrocentaurin from the ethyl acetate fraction of Enicostemma littorale using medium‐pressure liquid chromatography has been reported.

SEPARATION AND PURIFICATION OF THREE FLAVONOIDS FROM DAPHNE GENKWA SIEB. ET ZUCC.: COMPARISON IN PERFORMANCE BETWEEN MEDIUM-PRESSURE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY AND HIGH-SPEED COUNTERCURRENT CHROMATOGRAPHY

Journal of Liquid Chromatography & Related Technologies, 2012
The two methods of medium-pressure liquid chromatography (MPLC) and high-speed countercurrent chromatography (HSCCC) are compared in the separation and purification of crude extract from Daphne genkwa Sieb. et Zucc. The MPLC method was performed with the mobile phase composed of methanol-0.1% aqueous acetic acid in the gradient elution which yielded ...

Separation of methylated and non-methylated cyanoginosin-LR homologues of the cyanobacterium Microcystis aeruginosa strain PCC 7806 by reversed-phase medium-pressure liquid chromatography

Journal of Chromatography A, 1991
Abstract Cyanoginosins produced by Microcystis aeruginosa sp. are toxic cyclic heptapeptides with molecular weights of about 1000 dalton. Microcystis aeruginosa strain PCC 7806 proved to synthesize a methylated and non-methylated cyanoginosin-LR.
