We evaluated the presence and distribution of Trypanosoma cruzi DNA in a mummy presenting with megacolon that was dated as approximately 560 ± 40 years old. The mummy was from the Peruaçu Valley in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Effects of a Supervised Telerehabilitation‐Based Exercise Program on Constipation Symptoms and Quality of Life in Adults With Chronic Constipation: A Randomized Controlled Trial

A 4‐week synchronous physiotherapist‐supervised telerehabilitation exercise program significantly improves stool form and reduces patient‐reported constipation severity in adults with chronic constipation. These findings highlight synchronous telerehabilitation as an effective, high‐adherence adjunct to education for enhancing gastrointestinal outcomes.
