Cascade‐Responsive MXene@Cu‐MOF Heterostructure Integrates Antioxidant Activity, Infection Control, and Vascularization for Tracheal Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A cascade‐responsive MXene@Cu‐MOF/GelMA hydrogel is engineered as a “skeleton–backpack” platform for extensive tracheal repair. The MXene framework scavenges postoperative ROS and converts NIR light into mild hyperthermia, while the Cu‐MOF component provides pH/NIR‐responsive Cu2+ dosing for infection control, angiogenesis, and chondrogenesis.

Melt Granulation as a Modern Technological Procedure [PDF]

open access: yesScientia Pharmaceutica, 2010
The majority of active agents used in medicinal therapy belong to category BCS II, which means that they have poor dissolution and good absorption properties, thus their absorption can be controlled and promoted first of all with various formulation technologies. [...]

Cockroach‐Derived Leucokinin VIII Peptide Accelerates Diabetic Skin Wound Healing by Enhancing Keratinocyte Filopodia Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies the cockroach‐derived peptide leucokinin VIII as a potent accelerator of diabetic wound healing. By activating the FAK‐ACTG1 axis, the peptide drives keratinocyte migration and filopodia formation. Delivered via a developed PLGA‐PEG‐PLGA thermosensitive hydrogel for sustained release, this approach significantly hastens wound ...

Non‐Destructive Hydrophobic Engineering of Inverse Catalysts for Methanol Synthesis from CO2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, we report a non‐destructive hydrophobic modification strategy for ZrO2/Cu catalyst through physical mixing with PDVB. The optimized ZrO2/Cu‐PDVB catalyst achieves a methanol space‐time yield of 920.10 mgCH3OH gcat−1 h−1 under mild conditions, outperforming the unmodified catalyst by 30 %.

Advanced Experiment Design Strategies for Drug Development

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Wang et al. analyze 592 drug development studies published between 2020 and 2024 that applied design of experiments methodologies. The review surveys both classical and emerging approaches—including Bayesian optimization and active learning—and identifies a critical gap between advanced experimental strategies and their practical adoption in ...

GRANULACIÓN POR FUSIÓN EN MEZCLADORES GRANULADORES DE ALTA VELOCIDAD MELT GRANULATION IN HIGH SHEAR MIXER

open access: yesVitae, 2006
La granulación por fusión en un solo paso es una técnica alternativa al resto de métodos de granulación basada en la utilización de un agente aglutinante sólido que funde a temperaturas entre 50-80 ºC, en lugar de solventes acuosos u orgánicos.

Adsorption Desulfurization of Liquid Fuel Using a Blend of Date Stones and Walnut Shells by Box–Behnken Design

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A specific microporous KOH/activated‐biochar (K/BC) was produced from a blend of date stones (DS) and walnut shells (WS) and used in the adsorptive desulfurization (ADS) of two types of model fuel DBT/n‐hexane (S‐hex), DBT/cyclohexane (S‐cyclohex).

Scaling of Planar Sodium‐Nickel Chloride Battery Cells to 90 cm2 Active Area

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2025.
Large planar Na β′′ alumina electrolytes are prepared by tape‐casting and die‐pressing. These ceramic electrolytes are used to prepare planar sodium‐nickel chloride cells with 90 cm2 active area, providing a high capacity of 7 Ah. Successful cell cycling is demonstrated at 300 °C at rates up to C/4 (20 mA cm−2) for a cumulative capacity of 3.6 Ah cm−2.

Formulation and evaluation of aceclofenac mouth-dissolving tablet

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Pharmaceutical Technology & Research, 2011
Aceclofenac has been shown to have potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities similar to indomethacin and diclofenac, and due to its preferential Cox-2 blockade, it has a better safety than conventional Non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs)
