Protocol for quantifying miRNA trafficking across the endosomal membrane

MARK4 enhances stress granule formation under oxidative stress and increases tau accumulation

MARK4 (red dots) localizes to stress granules (orange dots) and promotes their formation under oxidative stress by modulating TIA1 (blue dots). MARK4 and TIA1 synergistically increase tau (purple) accumulation, and the reduction of the TIA1 ortholog suppresses neurodegeneration in a fly model.

Estimation of the viscosity and the water content of silicate melts from melt inclusion data

This paper presents a new and simple method for the estimation of the viscosity and the water content in hydrous silicate melts using homogenization measurements on melt inclusions in rock-forming minerals in granites and rhyolites from the Erzgebirge, the Slavkovsky les, Thuringia and the Caucasus, the Fichtelgebirge, the Oberpfalz.
