Memory Ordering of Survival Functions
Statistics, 1992A new partial ordering among life distributions in terms of their memories of aging is introduced. The relationship between this ordering and various existing orderings of life distributions are discussed. For example, it is shown that there is no relationship between memory ordering and failure rate ordering.
