Acutudaurin from Cultured Roots of Menispermum dauricum

Planta Medica, 2001
A new alkaloid, acutudaurin, was isolated from cultured roots of Menispermum dauricum, a rich source of the chlorine-containing alkaloid acutumine and its dechlorinated analogue dechloroacutumine. The structure of acutudaurin was determined to be 2',3'-dihydro-5-hydroxy-4,6',7'-trimethoxy- 1'-methylspiro[3-cyclohexene-1,10'-[3a,7a]propano[1H]indole]-2 ...

Isoquinoline and isoindole alkaloids from Menispermum dauricum

Phytochemistry, 2004
Three isoquinoline alkaloids and an isoindole alkaloid, along with eight known compounds, were isolated from the roots of Menispermum dauricum (Menispermacese). The alkaloids were characterized as 7-hydroxy-6-methoxy-1(2H)-isoquinolinone, 6,7-dimethoxy-N-methyl-3,4-dioxo-1(2H)-isoquinolinone, 1-(4-hydroxybenzoyl)-7-hydroxy-6-methoxy-isoquinoline and 6 ...

Protective Effects of Total Alkaloids from Menispermum dauricum against Airway Inflammation in Asthmatic Mice

Planta Medica, 2020
Abstract Menispermum dauricum is widely used to treat respiratory inflammation, including laryngopharyngitis, tonsillitis, tracheitis, and bronchitis. Total alkaloids isolated from M. dauricum have shown a variety of beneficial bioactivities. However, available data on the effects of M. dauricum total alkaloids against allergic asthma has not

Chemical constituents from the rhizome of Menispermum dauricum DC. and their chemotaxonomic significance

Biochemical Systematics and Ecology, 2020
Abstract The phytochemical investigations on the rhizome of Menispermum dauricum DC. led to the isolation of 18 compounds, including eleven alkaloids (1–11), four amides (12–15) and three fatty acids (16–18). All chemical structures were established on the basis of NMR (1H NMR and 13C NMR) spectroscopic data.

Oxoisoaporphines from Menispermum dauricum

Phytochemistry, 1999
Two oxoisoaporphine alkaloids, 2,3-dihydrodauriporphine and tyraminoporphine, together with the known alkaloid dauriporphine, were isolated from Menispermum dauricum roots cultured in a medium containing ketoconazole, a cytochrome P-450 inhibitor. Structures of the alkaloids were established by spectroscopic, crystallographic and chemical methods.

Three new alkaloids from Menispermum dauricum

Journal of Asian Natural Products Research, 2020
Three new alkaloids (1-3) were isolated from the rhizomes of Menispermum dauricum. The structures and configurations were established by extensive spectroscopic analyses, including 1D, 2D NMR, and ECD. [Formula: see text].
