The mental and the (in)ability accounts of mental disorders

Within an explicationist framework, this talk analyses mental disorder as a unitary condition. It argues that disorder must be harmful under properly justified standards. Harm is grounded in inabilities or significantly limited abilities. Some accounts add a further requirement.
