Body context and posture affect mental imagery of hands. [PDF]
Different visual stimuli have been shown to recruit different mental imagery strategies. However the role of specific visual stimuli properties related to body context and posture in mental imagery is still under debate.

Shared and Unique Neural Codes for Biological Motion Perception in Humans and Macaque Monkeys
Cross‐species fMRI studies reveal distinct neural mechanisms for biological motion (BM) processing. In humans, the posterior superior temporal sulcus (hpSTS) selectively responds to conspecific BM, while monkeys process BM from both species in the middle temporal area (MT).

Network‐based risk stratification of people living with HIV (PWH) on prolonged therapy using multi‐omics data identifies 44% of the patients are at risk of immunometabolic complications. A senescence‐associated myeloid cell‐driven plasma microenvironment drives immunometabolic dysregulation in at‐risk PWH.

Comparisons of Australian Mental Health Distributions [PDF]
Bayesian nonparametric estimates of Australian mental health distributions are obtained to assess how the mental health status of the population has changed over time and to compare the mental health status of female/male and indigenous/non-indigenous population subgroups.

Invariant template matching in systems with spatiotemporal coding: a vote for instability [PDF]
We consider the design of a pattern recognition that matches templates to images, both of which are spatially sampled and encoded as temporal sequences. The image is subject to a combination of various perturbations. These include ones that can be modeled as parameterized uncertainties such as image blur, luminance, translation, and rotation as well as

S‐ketamine binds directly to SIRT2, facilitating its interaction with NF‐κB p65. This interaction reduces the acetylation of NF‐κB p65 and inhibits its activation, thereby exerting anti‐inflammatory and antidepressant effects. Created by BioRender.

(1) The study found that the pupil area change rate, heart beat change rate and eyelid closure have good consistency for characterizing the driver's load. (2) In mountainous road, the driving load is different under different alignment conditions. The driving load is the largest when turning left, the second when turning right, and the smallest when ...

Trauma lurking in the shadows: A Reddit case study of mental health issues in online posts about Childhood Sexual Abuse [PDF]
Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA) is a menace to society and has long-lasting effects on the mental health of the survivors. From time to time CSA survivors are haunted by various mental health issues in their lifetime. Proper care and attention towards CSA survivors facing mental health issues can drastically improve the mental health conditions of CSA ...

RNA modification is crucial in fibrosis diseases, but the role of m1A modification remains elusive. This study reveals that ALKBH3, an m1A demethylase, drives skin fibrosis by reshaping m6A RNA modification and stabilizing COL1A1 and FN1 mRNAs through METTL3, uncovering a crosstalk between m1A and m6A methylation in pathological events.
