Changes in Nighttime Sleep Duration and Their Association With Cognitive Decline and Dementia Risk
ABSTRACT This study investigates changes in nighttime sleep duration in relation to cognitive decline and risk of incident dementia. A total of 3057 participants from the Swedish population study ‘Good Aging in Skåne’ (Mage = 68.4) with normal baseline sleep duration (6–8 h) were followed up to 20 years (Myears = 8.39). Self‐reported change was defined

Blankness in post‐post‐postmodern poetry
Abstract Jameson's “myth” identifies reification as the leading cause of cultural change. The myth also adumbrates the semiotic form of post‐postmodernism and post‐post‐postmodernism, which Jameson himself did not explore. One of the most extreme varieties of post‐post‐postmodern verse is the would‐be blank poem, pursued by Russian Futurists, Lettrists,

ABSTRACT Sesame (Sesamum indicum L., 2n = 26) is one of the oldest oilseed crops and is often called the ‘queen of oilseeds’ due to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids and natural antioxidants. Despite its long history, the origin and global spread of cultivated sesame remain unresolved.

Interventional human ocular safety experiments for 222‐nm far‐ultraviolet‐C lamp irradiation
To directly assess the ocular safety of 222‐nm far‐ultraviolet‐C (UVC) irradiation in humans, five subjects were exposed to 222‐nm UVC at doses of 22, 50, and 75 mJ/cm2. The findings indicate that far‐UVC irradiation does not cause “clinically significant photokeratitis” or long‐term ocular damage, though it may induce temporary discomfort.

Eye discomfort induced by 222 nm far‐UVC irradiation is significantly correlated with both irradiance and radiant exposure dose. The red circles indicate conditions with significant differences in the number of eye discomfort compared to the control group (blue circles), while the green circles indicate conditions with no difference from the control ...
