European Interdisciplinary Guidelines on Pain Management in Acute Pancreatitis: UEG, EPC, EDS, ESDO, EAGEN, ESPGHAN, ESGAR, and ESPCG Evidence‐Based Recommendations

open access: yesUnited European Gastroenterology Journal, Volume 14, Issue 5, June 2026.

Exploring hemodynamic alterations in gastroschisis: insights into fetal growth restriction using prenatal MRI

open access: yesUltrasound in Obstetrics &Gynecology, Volume 67, Issue 6, Page 795-805, June 2026.
Abstract Objective Despite the high incidence of fetal growth restriction (FGR) in gastroschisis (GS) associated with placental fetal vascular malperfusion (FVM), the underlying mechanism remains unclear. We aimed to investigate whether umbilical vein (UV) stenosis at the abdominal wall defect impairs fetoplacental circulation, leading to FGR.

Relationship Between Radiographic and Pathological Portal Vein‐Superior Mesenteric Vein Involvement in Neoadjuvant Treatment for Pancreatic Cancer: A Comparative Study of Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy and Chemoradiotherapy

open access: yesWorld Journal of Surgery, Volume 50, Issue 6, Page 1676-1684, June 2026.
The relationship between the radiographic portal vein‐superior mesenteric vein (PV‐SMV) involvement and pathological PV‐SMV (pPV) invasion has been established in upfront surgery cases of pancreatic cancer (PC); however, evidence remains limited for patients receiving neoadjuvant therapy (NAT).

Ca2+‐Activated Cl− Channels: Do Bestrophins and TMEM16A Interact?

open access: yesActa Physiologica, Volume 242, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim Ca2+‐activated Cl– conductances are present in many cell types and are important for regulating membrane potential as well as other cellular functions. TMEM16A is widely accepted as the principal molecular basis for Ca2+‐activated Cl– conductances, but also members of the bestrophin family may be important for some Ca2+‐activated Cl ...

Cholangiocarcinoma in a central bearded dragon (Pogona vitticeps): A case report

open access: yesAustralian Veterinary Journal, Volume 104, Issue 6, Page 404-409, June 2026.
Cholangiocarcinoma is an uncommon malignant epithelial tumour of the biliary tract in reptiles and is rarely reported in central bearded dragons (Pogona vitticeps). This case report describes a 7‐year‐old male central bearded dragon in which a nonspecific coelomic opacity was incidentally detected during a routine clinical examination.
