Performance of the Mesh Architecture in the Analysis of Sparse Images

1989
Aim of the paper is to show a parallel cluster algorithm on a mesh architecture useful in the analysis of sparse images. The algorithm computes the 1NN and an approximate version of the MST of a weighted undirected graph, which represents the image “on” pixels. Some indexes of performance are given on the basis of an experimental evaluation.

Performance analysis of mesh routing protocols for UAV swarming applications

2011 8th International Symposium on Wireless Communication Systems, 2011
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are an emerging technology offering new opportunities for innovative applications and efficient overall process management in the areas of public security, cellular networks and surveying. A key factor for the optimizations yielded by this technology is an advanced mesh network design for fast and reliable information ...

Towards the performance analysis of IEEE 802.16 backbone mesh networks

Proceedings of the 2009 MobiHoc S3 workshop on MobiHoc S3 - MobiHoc S3 '09, 2009
In this paper, we consider a hybrid network with IEEE 802.16 based mesh for the backbone network and an IEEE 802.11 based indoor wireless network for the access network. The packets generated by the IEEE 802.11 network feed traffic into the backbone network. We use a jackson network approximation to model the mesh network.

Electronic Performance Analysis and Equivalent of Mesh Reflector Antenna

2020
Spaceborne antennas are designed for the tasks of space-to-ground and space-to-space communication, navigation, precision observation, space-based warning systems, etc. The electronic performance is the most important and final target that all other factors serve.

Simulation and analysis of performance of indoor meshed ZigBee networks

2009 Mediterrannean Microwave Symposium (MMS), 2009
In this paper, system simulation for indoor meshed ZigBee networks is presented. The behavior of the radio channel is evaluated by means of 3D ray tracing algorithms that have been developed in order to analyze interference in a scenario of coexistence of two ZigBee meshed networks which are adjacent one to the other by electromagnetic transparent wall

Performance analysis of weakly meshed and reconfigured distribution systems

2017 International Conference on Energy, Communication, Data Analytics and Soft Computing (ICECDS), 2017
The large penetration of renewable resources in to the distribution systems made the analysis and performance of these systems important. The distribution systems with or without dispersed generation are operated in radial form for ease of system protection.

Performance Analysis of Group Handoff in Multihop Mesh Relay System

2006
Simulcast Technique can be used to diminish handoff rate and share resources among multiple relays in MMR system. Using dynamic grouping, simulcast technique can also rearrange traffic load. In this paper, we analyze group handoff generated by dynamic grouping in MMR system.

Implementation and Performance Analysis of SkelGIS for Network Mesh-Based Simulations

2014
The implicit parallelism is an active domain of computer-science to hide intricate details of parallelization from the end-user. Some solutions are specific to a precise domain while others are more generic, however, the purpose is always to find the adapted level of abstraction to ease the high performance and parallel programming. We present SkelGIS,

Greedy routing in wireless mesh network: Performance and analysis

2009 International Conference on Networking, Sensing and Control, 2009
Uniform random network(URN) is perhaps the most basic and generic model of complex networks. In a URN, each node links to exactly k other nodes which are randomly chosen from the entire network with equal probability. With such a simple topology assumption, URN is suitable for modeling homogeneous wireless mesh networks.
